Spring Break

As we head to spring break, parents, please pay attention to your children. Please make sure you are addressing with your children what grooming is, what sextortion is, and how to know the warning signs. Most importantly, please speak with your child about going to strangers' houses and to never give out their addresses to anyone. Many pedophiles, predators, and perverts are masquerading as teenagers online in order to trick our children into having relations with them. Their lives may depend on it, so please teach them the warning signs. Too many of our children are meeting strangers on dating apps, gaming sites, and social media; then they come up missing and killed. We have a duty to protect our children as parents, regardless of what anyone says. If you need resources or tips, please reach out to us. Our children deserve to grow up in innocence.
