This month is to spotlight Domestic Violence/Intimate Partner Violence. I would like to challenge everyone to familiarize yourself with the warning signs of DV/IPV. Chances are you may know someone who is going through this. Please keep them in prayer and let them know you are there without judgment to assist once they are ready to leave after activating their safety plan.

This month also spotlights Breast Cancer. Please remember to be there for those who are dealing with breast cancer. Chances are you know someone’s who is fighting it and it could strike men too. Many times they feel isolated while going through treatment and some choose to keep it to themselves. Please keep them uplifted in prayer, because the treatment can be brutal and this cancer can be aggressive to fight too.

Remember to pray for them, to show love and compassion too. Most importantly, stay connected and in contact with them. Just knowing you are there can make all of the difference.
